Create your account
Getting into Dotwave takes less than a minute. There is no email verification step and no credit card to enter — you register, you land in the app, and you can upload your first file immediately. This article covers signing up, signing back in, and recovering a forgotten password.
Registering
Go to app.dotwave.app/register in any modern browser.
Provide your name, email address, and a password. Your email is how you will sign in, so use one you check.
Dotwave creates your account instantly.
There is no email verification to wait for. You land on the home screen ready to add your first data source.
Use a strong password. Dotwave stores it using industry-standard hashing — we never see it in plain text, and neither does anyone else.
Signing in
When you come back, go to app.dotwave.app/login and enter the email and password you registered with. Dotwave uses email and password authentication only, so there are no third-party login buttons to hunt for. Once you sign in, your session persists for 24 hours. After that window you will be asked to sign in again — a deliberate limit that keeps an unattended browser from staying logged in indefinitely. If you are working across a longer engagement, expect to re-authenticate roughly once a day.
Forgot your password?
Everyone forgets a password eventually. Dotwave makes recovery straightforward:
You will find the link on the login page at app.dotwave.app/login.
Type the address associated with your account and submit the form.
Dotwave emails you a password reset link. Open it and choose a new password.
The reset link expires soon after it is sent, so complete the reset while you have the email open rather than saving it for later.
If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and confirm you entered the same address you registered with. Once you have reset the password, sign in normally with your new credentials.
Why registration is this simple
Dotwave deliberately keeps the sign-up flow short so you can get to work on real data instead of clearing hurdles. There is no email confirmation loop to slow you down, no billing screen during early access, and no third-party account to connect. That said, a lightweight sign-up puts a little more responsibility on the password you choose. Because your email and password are the only credentials that protect your account, pick a password you do not reuse elsewhere and store it in a password manager if you have one. If you ever suspect it has been exposed, change it right away from Settings, or use the forgot-password flow above to set a fresh one. A minute of care here keeps your cleaned datasets and client dashboards private.
